Creativity Coaching–Are you looking for support and guidance to get where you want to go with your art?

Coaching with Gwenda Joyce helps you move through immediate issues to get the point where you can look at the longer term.  Gwenda will support your process of clarifying your vision, creating a strategic plan, and implementing it step-by-step to make sure that you reach your goals.  Working with Gwenda supports your artistic process and keeps you accountable to that process. Creativity Coaching makes use of proven tools to help you move through obstacles that come up or deal with distractions, overwhelm and procrastination. You will stay focused along a chosen path and reach your identified goals.  It is proven that people who are seen, heard and supported achieve greater success.

Creativity Coaching is really great for artists who are feeling stuck or for artists who want to get clear on their vision and move faster in putting it into place.  We will develop a strategic plan for specific goals, including such issues as completing a body of work, strategies to increase exhibitions, approaching galleries, and making contacts in the art world. It can also involve other issues such as time management, marketing and art issues.

It is proven that people get farther with support.  It is also a fact that, in the art world, as with other fields, artists who are directed and strategic in working the system will get results.

The Written Word–Are you a great artist but words make you feel dizzy?

Having the right written words accompany your visuals is essential in this day and age.  You want to get to the point and make it match your artwork. Whether your art is poetic, evocative and metaphoric or multi-layered, complicated and dynamic, Gwenda Joyce, Art Ambassador can go to the heart of the matter and pull out the main points to get across.  Gwenda is  a published writer who can help you with your Artist’s Statement, Press Releases and create text for your website.  Get the publicity you want for your exhibitions.

Artist’s Agent: Are you an artist who has demonstrated ability and are seeking to expand your art world connections and find gallery representation?


The Art Ambassador has connected artists with galleries and can find the right one for you.  The agent’s goal is to find gallery representation for the artist. In the process, you will achieve greater understanding of the art world and become more connected to it.


The initial stage involves an assessment of the artist’s current position with his or her career, the creation of a current body of work, and the identification of contacts and history on which to build. Existing materials will be reviewed and updated, strengths and weaknesses assessed, goals identified and a strategic plan will be made.  The next stage involves implementation of the strategic plan.


Fees and rates will be determined upon acceptance and after a review of the artist’s portfolio. The process requires a minimum 6-month commitment, and may be extended.
